Dr. Claire Escario
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Claire is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Claire has earned a certification held by less than 5% of all dentists in the United States and has extensive training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Claire has almost 20 years of experience in the dental field. Since receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in the Philippines and placing in the top 1% of her board examination, she has received extensive post graduate training in the United States. She attended a fellowship in Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction at Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. To further her knowledge even more, Dr. Claire completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education. After practicing several years as a General Dentist, Dr. Claire decided to follow her passion for working with children. She went on to earn her specialization in Pediatric Dentistry from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
Dr. Claire prioritizes staying on the cutting edge of pediatric dentistry by maintaining her continuing education courses each year. She works closely with pediatricians and lactation consultants to help infants and young children with breastfeeding and speech issues by using Light Scalpel laser.
Dr. Claire is dedicated to giving back to the community and has participated in several medical missions in the Philippines and volunteers with Give Kids a Smile programs in the U.S.
Family and Fun
When Dr. Claire is not in the office, you can find her running or spending time with her family and doing all kinds of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, and skateboarding. She loves the ukelele and goes on thrilling adventures like skydiving, jumping off waterfalls and swimming with whale sharks! Her three young children keeps her on her toes (Fun fact: she has twins!). Running the Marine Corps Marathon is next on her bucket list!
